Emily Courtz

Emily started her floral journey in 2012 when she became an intern at a small, organic flower shop in Santa Cruz, CA. She combined her art history background and love of nature and began creating feminine, lush and natural designs.

Emily has worked at numerous shops in the SF Bay Area and has worked for some of the top designers in her field, crafting and honing her skills for seven years now.

Em's style evokes a lush, overflowing garden full of movement, interesting textures and an imperfect, yet elegant form.  She designs with the seasons in mind, finding the most exquisite, fresh and sustainable blooms that are available the in the lovely SF Bay Area markets. She has an elevated, yet approachable style and would love to work with you.

When she isn’t flowering in her Petaluma studio, Em loves to travel with her sweet husband, Christian, cook + have dinner parties, practice tarot + yoga.

Emily’s work has been featured on Magnolia Rouge, Artfully Wed, Dear Gray Magazine and most recently Pop Sugar.
